This incident happened on Day 2 of the IND A vs AUS A 2nd Unofficial Test when Tanush Kotian had come round the wicket. Marcus Harris, who was on strike, attempted to play it on the on-side when the ball spun sharply and went into the hands of first slip. After the catch was taken, the India A players were pretty confident that was it out but slowly, their joy turned into shock as the umpire did not rule it as a dismissal. Cricket Australia shared the video on social media which showed the ball going away from the bat but it wasn't very clear if it had edged the bat or hit the pad on the way to first slip. Hence the controversy. Even the commentator on air said that there was a 'genuine edge'. Tanush Kotian later took to Instagram to share the video of this incident and called it 'horrible.'
