New Delhi, June 5: With India and South Africa clashing for the first time in Cricket World Cup 2019 on Wednesday in Southampton in England, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished his best for the 'men in blue'.

Congratulating the brave Team 11 of the Indian squad, PM Modi took to Twitter and wrote, "As #TeamIndia begins it’s #CWC19 journey today, best wishes to the entire Team." SA 43/2 in 13 Overs | India vs South Africa Live Cricket Score of ICC World Cup 2019 Match: Jasprit Bumrah & Bhuvi Give a Good Start to India

Adding on, the Indian Premier also mentioned that the team to maintain and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship. He wrote, "May this tournament witness good cricket and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship. Khel bhi Jeeto Aur Dil Bhi! (Win the Game and The Heart). #INDvSA"

It is to be known that India is currently playing with South Africa in England in ICC World Cup 2019. This is the first match of India which will be followed by the next eight matches. Till the report was published, South African scored 43-2 in 13 overs.
