During the ICC T20 World Cup 2010 match, Raina's brilliant innings of 101 off 60 balls guided India to 186/5. He also became the first Indian batsman to slam a hundred in the ICC T20 World Cup. While chasing 187, Jacques Kallis top-scored with 73 runs, but South Africa made 172/5 and lost the close encounter by 14 runs. For his fantastic century, Raina was awarded the Player of the Match Award.
Rohit Sharma - 106 runs off 66 balls
During the Dharamsala T20I match in October 2015, Indian opener Rohit Sharma played a wonderful knock of 106 off 66 balls, including 17 boundaries. Sharma's knock guided India to reach 199/5. However, South Africa's JP Duminy played a match-winning knock of 68* (34) which helped his side chase down a 200-run target. Proteas won the match by five wickets.
Suryakumar Yadav - 100 runs off 56 balls
During a T20I match in Johannesburg in December 2023, India's Suryakumar Yadav played a stunning knock of 100 off 56 balls, including seven fours and eight sixes. Suryakumar's brilliant display of batting guided India to 201/7. While defending 202 runs, Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets as South Africa were bundled out for just 95 runs. India won the one-sided affair by 106 runs. Yadav was named Player of the Match for his fantastic century.
