IND vs PAK, Asia Cup 2022, Super 4 Highlights: Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Nawaz Help Pakistan Script Thrilling Five-Wicket Victory

Another India vs Pakistan match and it was nothing less than a thriller! A steep 182-run target was posed in front of Pakistan and Mohammad Rizwan continued his good form against India and in this Asia Cup with a well-made 71 off 51 balls. He was ably supported by Mohammad Nawaz (42 off 20 balls) and in the end, Asif Ali's quickfire 16, after being dropped on 0 by Arshdeep Singh, helped Pakistan get over the line in a thrilling match. It's 1-1 between Pakistan and India now in this Asia Cup 2022 tournament. Earlier, Virat Kohli played a classy 60-run knock as India managed to post 181/7 after a blazing start. 

Iftikhar Ahmed walks in and takes two runs to help Pakistan beat India by five wickets in this Super 4 encounter! This is Pakistan's highest successful chase against India and the Men in Blue have fallen short here! Arshdeep Singh would be hoping to forget this match as soon as possible as he dropped the catch to dismiss Asif Ali, which probably gave the Green Shirts the final edge they needed. The runs are flowing really quickly now and Mohammad Nawaz is turning on the heat now. Promoted to number four, the southpaw is playing a gem of an innings here and India need a wicket here, or else this game can finish pretty quickly. After the onslaught on Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal is at the receiving end now. 

Mohammad Rizwan is playing a gem of an innings here. And he is receiving great support from Mohammad Nawaz at the other end. Both these players are keeping Pakistan very much in the chase as Hardik Pandya's poor night with the ball continues. India need a wicket here badly.

Mohammad Nawaz's promotion is turning out to be a game-changer here for Pakistan as the southpaw has freely played his shots. He came up with a slog sweep to hit a six off Ravi Bishnoi's bowling. A lot more such shots are needed from Pakistan. 

Mohammad Rizwan comes up with a great shot off a full toss from Yuzvendra Chahal! A huge six from his bat and Pakistan have a good start to the over. His team needs the runs and quickly and the opener has not disappointed. He is also running pretty quickly, putting pressure on the fielders. 

Mohammad Nawaz is making the most of his promotion to number four as he struck a six off Hardik Pandya. Pakistan would need him to get some quick runs while Mohammad Rizwan holds the other end tightly in this run chase. 

The ploy to bowl Yuzvendra Chahal with Ravi Bishnoi has worked here for India. Chahal got the breakthrough with Fakhar Zaman looking to take him to the cleaners. Mohammad Nawaz has been promoted to number four for Pakistan,

Ravi Bishnoi is brought back and he has backed up his earlier over with another good one, conceding just six runs, all in singles. India are slowly starting to tighten the screws on this chase. 

Yuzvendra Chahal is introduced into the attack and Pakistan, especially Mohammad Rizwan, has looked to score off every delivery. He comes down the track and hit a good shot and a rare misfield from Virat Kohli hands him a four. 

Pakistan have not been able to get a similar start to that of India but after losing Babar Azam's wicket, Mohammad Rizwan has held the other end strongly. He slapped a ball for a beautiful six off Arshdeep Singh and would be looking for some more of these shots. Fakhar Zaman too has looked good so far.
