Hello and welcome to LatestLY's coverage of Ind vs Eng 4th Test Day 2. India will look to secure the first innings lead today whileĀ England will be looking bundle out the visitors as soon as possible.

India was a step ahead of their opponents, England, as the Day 1 of the fourth Test match concluded at Southampton. The Indian bowlers ripped through Englandā€™s top order and reduced the hosts to a below-par total of 246 runs. Jasprit Bumrah was Indiaā€™s best bowler in the day as he picked up three crucial wickets.

Bumrah drew first blood as he dismissed opener Keaton Jennings In only his second over. With equal support from Ishant Sharma on the other end, the duo ran rampant on the English team. Mohammed Shami, who had poorly bowled in the previous Test, bowled tighter lengths as the day progressed.Ā India vs England 4th Test 2018 Live Streaming and Telecast: Hereā€™s How to Watch IND vs ENG 4th Test, Day 2, Cricket Match Online and on TV.

Dismissing lower-order batsmen quickly has always been Indiaā€™s problem. On Thursday, too, it was Sam Curran who stitched critical partnerships with Moeen Ali and Stuart Broad to push England to a respectable total. The young left-handed batsman was also the highest scorer for England as he scored 78 runs.

The Indian openers saw a brief window of play and negated any danger posed by Englandā€™s bowlers. James Anderson and Stuart Broad bowled two overs each; however, they werenā€™t able to bowl disciplined lengths, which saw India end the day unscathed.

Come Friday, both England and India would look forward to gaining the upper hand in the match. For India, they would be looking to post a high first-innings total, whereas England would be looking to restrict Indiaā€™s surge in the game.
