England opener Jason Roy is a doubtful starter for the 3rd One-Day International (ODI) against India. Ahead of the series decider at Headingley, Roy will undergo a fitness Test on a laceration to his finger he sustained while fielding during the second ODI at Lord’s. Vince if picked in the playing XI will be playing his first ODI in nearly two years. The last time he represented England in ODIs was on tour of Bangladesh in 2016. Billings, on the other hand, made it to the playing XI in one of the ODIs against Australia last month. Though he was later dropped for the T20Is against Australia and India.

England are already without the service of opener Alex Hales who was out of the action following a side strain. Meanwhile, both the teams will be looking to clinch the series. India won the first ODI by eight wickets to take the lead. However, the home side bounced back to register an 86-run victory in the second ODI and with that drew level in the series.
