In both the innings at Lord’s, Indian batsmen failed miserably. In the first innings, James Anderson was wrecker-in-chief as he scalped five wickets to bowl out India for just 107 runs. In second innings it was no different. Anderson along with Stuart Broad dismantled the Indian batting line-up and picked four wickets each. The visitors were once again bowled out for a low score and could manage only 130. After being restricted to a low total in second innings, India lost the Lord’s Test by an innings and 159 runs.

In second innings, Anderson did a repeat of first innings and removed both the Indian openers- Murali Vijay and KL Rahul before the lunch break on day four. Post lunch, Broad ran through India’s middle order and picked four wickets. IND vs ENG 3rd Test 2018: Rishabh Pant to Make Test Debut at Trent Bridge?
