Mushfiqur Rahim showed some resilience in Bangladesh’s second innings but seems like, he can only manage to lower the margin of his side’s defeat in the 1st India vs Bangladesh Test. At tea on Day 3, the Bangla Tigers were batting at 191/6 with Mushfiqur Rahim (53) and Mehidy Hasan (38) on the crease. However, they are still 152 runs behind India’s first innings total of 493 runs and doesn’t look like going past that. However, they managed to show some resistance on Day three’s second session as they lost just two wickets. India Vs Bangladesh, Live Cricket Score 1st Test Match.
Wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim mustered his 20th Test half-century and helped his side to go past 150 runs. Earlier in the day, Bangladesh were asked to bat for the second time in the match as the hosts declared on their overnight score of 493 runs. Trailing by 343 runs, the visitors again made a dismal start with the bat as their to-order was dismantled by the Indian pacers and they lost four wickets in the morning session. After lunch, however, they tried to make a comeback but still lost their two batsmen and the home side need mere four wickets to take an unassailable 1-0 lead in the series.
In the last session of the match, the Indian bowlers will aim to break the resistance of Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim in order to seal the deal on Day 3 itself. However, the opponents will play for pride and will put their guards down easily. However, the ask is for a lot and they don’t seem to be bouncing back in the match.
