India win by an innings and 132 runs! Mohammed Shami wraps it up as India bowl out Australia for 91 runs. Shami picks the final two wickets. Ravi Ashwin was the star bowler for India in the second innings as he picked a five-wicket haul, his 31st in Tests. So, India take 1-0 lead in the four-match series and Australia have an uphill task as the look to bounce back in the next game. 

Ravindra Jadeja bowled Steve Smith but it was a no-ball and thus the Australian batter survives. And meanwhile, the tea break has been delayed as we expect result to be around the corner. 

Australia are now eight down and stare at an innings defeat. Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel scalped the last two wickets to fell. Steven Smith is still there in the middle but he faces an uphill task.

Another five-wicket haul for Ravi Ashwin! Another LBW, this time it is Alex Carey. Looking for a reverse sweep, Carey misses the line of the ball and is trapped in front. He opts for DRS but all in vain! 31st five-wicket haul for Ravi Ashwin!

India strike early in second innings as well. It is Ravi Ashwin who accounts for Usman Khawaja. Virat Kohli takes the catch at slip as Khawaja was looking to drive the ball. 

India have been bowled out for 400 runs. And that means, they secure a massive 223-run lead in the first innings. Axar Patel misses out on what could have been his maiden Test century, he departs for 84 runs. Pat Cummins picks the final wicket to fall. Meanwhile, it is time for lunch break!

Finally, Australia manage to break the partnership between Axar Patel and Mohammed Shami. No surprises, Todd Murphy gets the wicket as Shami looking to attack the spinner departs in the process. Seventh wicket for the spinner. 

India's lead is now worth 175 runs. Axar Patel and Mohammed Shami have added 24 runs for the ninth wicket thus far. Australia have managed to pick just one wicket in the first hour of the day. 

Early breakthrough for Australia on day three. Spinner Todd Murphy has accounted for Ravindra Jadeja. The batsman was looking to leave the ball nut he misjudged it and the ball went on to hit the stumps.
