The day five started on a frustrating note for India as rains washed out the entire first session of day five. The rains forced an early lunch as well. Once weather was clear and play started India finished things in just 4.3 overs.
Jasprit Bumrah, who scalped six wickets in the first innings, dismissed Pat Cummins to take India closer to win. Cummins was caught at first slip after scoring 63. It was Cummins who made sure the Test match enters the fifth day after showing some resilience with the bat on the penultimate day.
Why is "Gavaskar Trophy" trending?
a) It's Border-Gavaskar trophy.
b) Now that we retain it, it won't leave the Border.
