Special knocks from Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav helped India pull off a memorable six-wicket victory over Australia at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday, September 25. Chasing 187 in a decider is no easy task and India were pegged back early with the dismissals of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma. A massive partnership between Kohli and SKY helped India gain control of this game before Hardik Pandya kept a cool head to finish off the game with a boundary. With this, India have won yet another bilateral series and they would cherish this win the most, as it has come against the world champions. 

And Hardik Pandya does it! Australia have bowled wide yorkers to Hardik Pandya and this time, the right-hander got a bit of bat on to it, carving it for a four to give India a famous win in the 3rd T20I in Hyderabad. It was a nervy chase from India and in the end, the Hyderabad crowd have been treated to an absolutely delightful match here! India now have 21 wins in 2022, most by a team in one calendar year!

Suryakumar Yadav is looking in some form here! The right-hander has played shots all around the park, some of which have left the crowd amazed. This partnership is doing well for India here and the hosts would hope for them to continue further ahead. The match is beautifully poised at the moment. 

The Kohli-Surya partnership is slowly starting to help India gain control of this game. Both these players have had exceptional shot-making and they have pounced on every opportunity that they have got. India would believe that they can get there in the end. 

Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli are getting a move on here and both batters are looking good and aware of where the fielders are. After starting slowly, Suryakumar has played some good shots with perfect placement. These shots have not allowed Glenn Maxwell to settle down.

India have started to get momentum into this run chase with both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma hitting boundaries off Adam Zampa. India would need these two to bat well in this phase so that they do not fall behind the required run rate.

What a finish this from Harshal Patel and India. After being taken apart for runs in this 1st over and the last few balls, the medium pacer has pulled things back. With Tim David going all out in the last few overs, a 200+ total was on the cards but India have pulled things back. A lot of credit for this total should go to Cameron Green for the way he started and David, playing his third match for Australia, matched that tempo to score a quickfire fifty for himself. For India, Axar Patel was India's best bowler with figures of 3/33. India need 187 runs to win the series.

Tim David has started freeing his arms and Australia will need him to hit a few more if they are to finish on a high here. Consecutive sixes and one four for the tall right-hander and the visitors will once again start hoping for a strong total. 

India have well and truly asserted their control on this game after Axar Patel's final over, which yielded the wickets of Josh Inglis and the in-form Matthew Wade. Australia dominated the match in its early phases but India have managed to claw their way back strongly. Tim David and Daniel Sams hold the key for Australia to get to a strong total in this decider. 

OUT! Axar Patel has struck twice to peg Australia further back in this match.
