Team Pakistan might have lost the third ODI against England by six -wickets, but it was Imam-Ul-Haq that impressed everyone with his gritty knock of 151 runs. Not only did he power Pakistan to a big total of 358 runs, but also went on to break Kapil Dev's 36-year-old record. Imam-Ul-Haq became the youngest player to slam 150 plus runs in the 50 over format. The record was previously held by the former Indian captain Kapil Dev. ENG beat PAK by 6 wickets.

The Pakistani opener aged 23 years and 153 days, broke Kapil’s record of scoring an unbeaten of 175  runs against Zimbabwe in 1983 at the age of 24. With this knock, Imam also created a record for scoring highest individual total against England in ODI cricket. Imam surpassed his teammate Fakahr Zaman's record as he had scored 138 in Southampton in the 2nd ODI of the ongoing series. Shoaib Akhtar Slams Sarfaraz Ahmed’s Captaincy After Pakistan Loses to England by Six Wickets in the Third ODI.

Talking about the game, despite a big total on the board, Pakistan lost the game by six wickets. All thanks to Jonny Bairstow who scored 128 runs from 93 balls and gave a brilliant start to the home team along with Jason Roy who made 76 runs off 55 balls as they chased the total of 358 runs. Their defeat didn't go down well with Shoaib Akhtar who slammed captain Sarfraz Ahmed on Twitter.  "Another big total wasted. A lot to think when you cannot defend 358. As a captain, @SarfarazA_54 needs to step up and make solid decisions.” After winning the toss, England chose to bowl. Pakistan’s Imam-Ul-Haq scored 151 runs. Asif Ali chipped in with 52 runs and Haris Sohail made 41 runs from 41 balls." England now leads the series by 2-0.
