The ballot box was open until August 29, 2018 and now the ICC took to Twitter to declare the dates for general ticket sales. The official account informed that the international cricketing body had received 2.5 million ballot applications for the mega-tournament which will be spread across 11 venues. Fans who had applied for the public ballot will get a notification tomorrow i.e. September 13, 2018. The remaining tickets will go on sale from September 27, 2018 via the official ticketing website. The ICC has made 50,000 tickets available for general sales. “Over 2.5 million ballot applications were received for #CWC19 tickets! 🏆A limited number of remaining tickets, available for all teams and venues, will go on general sale at 10 am BST on 27 September! 🎟 http://bit.ly/CWC19GenSale,” read the tweet.

We’d urge any fan interested in still attending to not miss out in the general sale as most matches will then be sold out.”
