Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana showed off their dancing skills along with Veda Krishnamurthy and youngster Jemimah Rodriguez as the Indian team prepares for ICC Women’s World T20 2018 to be held in West Indies from November 09 onwards. The official Twitter handle of ICC World T20 posted the pictures of the Indian players dancing in the team’s colours. “The @BCCIWomen showed off their best moves for us!,” wrote the official Twitter handle. India will open their Women’s World T20 campaign against New Zealand on November 09 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. Harmanpreet is the captain of the side. Placed in Group B alongside rivals Pakistan, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, India will be looking to secure their maiden World T20 title.
India have made it to the semi-finals twice in 2009 and 2010 editions, but have never qualified for the finals. Meanwhile, India’s first goal will be to top their group and advance to the semis. Skipper Harmanpreet admitted that group stage matches will be challenging.

"The ICC Women's World Twenty20 will be a competitive tournament with some tough league matches early on and no team can take it easy at any stage. Naturally, expectations will be high from our team after our World Cup final appearance last year and we aim to be at our best during the tournament," Harmanpreet told the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The semi-final of the Women’s World T20 2018 will be played on November 22 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound in Antigua. The final will be held at the same venue on November 24.
