International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Twitter handle posted a wrong image of Andrew Hall while the cricket’s governing body was wishing the former South African cricketer on his 44 birthday. Instead of Hall’s image, ICC uploaded his fellow former South African bowler Charl Langeveldt’s picture. Twitterati were quick to notice the mistake made by ICC and so was the Bangladesh Wicket Board’s (BCB) Twitter handle. Interestingly, Langeveldt was a few days back was named as the new bowling coach of the Bangladesh cricket team. BCB’s Twitter account did remind ICC that the man in the picture was their bowling coach, not Hall. “That’s our Bowling Coach Charl Langeveldt ?? Happy Birthday to Andrew Hall!” tweeted BCB with Hall’s image.

Hall, who has featured in 88 ODIs for South Africa, turned 44 on Wednesday, July 31. Apart from picking 95 wickets, Hall scored 905 runs. In the longer format, Hall represented South Africa in 21 matches and picked 45 wickets. He also played two T20Is for the Proteas.
