The #10YearChallenge has gone viral on social media recently! The latest fad on the Internet has made people share their ten years older photographs, i.e. of the year 2009, and a recent one, i.e. of the year 2019. With the trend gaining popularity of late, the International Cricket Council (ICC), on Wednesday, took the #10YearChallenge on Twitter too.
The ICC took to the microblogging site shared the ‘Top 100 Test Batsmen’ ranking lists, earlier today. Well, here’s where the #10YearChallenge came in the picture. The ICC shared two photos of the bygone era and the current era where one can see a slew of legends of the game.
Taking to Twitter, ICC tweeted, “The @MRFWorldwide ICC Test Batting Rankings, then and now! #2009vs2019 #10YearChallenge.”
Here’s What ICC Shared on Social Media While Attempting #10YearChallenge:

It is heartening to see a list of legends of the game all over again. To see a list comprising the names of Shivnarine Chanderpaul (West Indies), Mohammad Yousuf (Pakistan), Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka), Kevin Pietersen (England), Michael Clarke (Australia) in the top five of the rankings list is delighting for any cricket fan.
From Gautam Gambhir being the sole Indian batsman on the 10th spot in 2009, to Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara on the first and third spots in 2019, the then and now challenge, i.e. #10yearChallenge, and the tweet by the ICC on Twitter shows how far we have come in Cricket!
