Singapore has won the ICC World Twenty20 Asia Qualifier 2019 after finsihing on top of the points table. Singapore's numero uno spot was confirmed following an impressive 82-run victory over Nepal. Singapore now qualifies for the ICC T20 World Cup Global Qualifiers to be held in UAE later this year. Qatar meanwhile finishes on second place while Nepal ends up on third. The ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier 2019 is a five-team event which is currently underway in Singapore. The tournament will be held between July 22 to July 28 and all the matches will be held at the Indian Association Ground in Singapore. Malaysia, Singapore, Kuwait, Qatar, and Nepal are the teams participating in the tournament.

Nepal (11) comes into the tournament as the highest-ranked side and are favourites to finish on top of the points table. Qatar (21) is the second best-ranked team in the tournament followed by home side Singapore (23), Kuwait (28) and Malaysia (35).
