ICC has released the full schedule for forthcoming T20I World Cup 2020. After the conclusion of ICC T20 World Cup 2019 Qualifiers, six more teams have qualified for the next year’s cricket tournament. The T20 cricket tournament will commence on October 18, 2020, and will end with the final match on November 15 at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). A total of 16 teams will be playing 45 matches during ICC T20 World Cup 2020. The 16 teams participating in the tournament are India, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Papua New Guinea, Oman, Bangladesh, Namibia, Netherlands, Scotland, Australia, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan and England. Papua New Guinea, Ireland, and Oman will join Sri Lanka in Group A for 1st round qualifiers. Netherlands, Namibia, and Scotland will join Bangladesh in Group B. The top two teams from both the groups will qualify for the Super 12 stage. In the Super 12 stages, the teams are divided as follows. Group A- Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, West Indies, A1, B2.
