ICC ODI Rankings 2018: Team India, Now World Beaters; Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah Tops List of Batsman and Bowlers Respectively!

As per the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) Rankings, it seems that India is witnessing a golden period in the cricket history. Be it individual player rankings or team rankings, the Indian flag is flying high in all of them.

Players like Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, are leading the ICC Player rankings, whereas Ravindra Jadeja, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Rohit Sharma are featured in the top 10 lists too. In the ICC Team Rankings too, the Indian team is leading in the 50-over format of the game. India registered a comprehensive victory against South Africa in the six-match ODI series by 5-1, last week. India captain Virat Kohli surpassed a lot of records in the recently concluded ODI series against the Proteas. Kohli has now become the second batsman after South Africa’s AB de Villiers to cross 900-point mark concurrently in both formats of Cricket. Jasprit Bumrah didn’t get a heap of wickets in the South Africa ODI series, but did chip in with vital contributions.
