Inox Cineplex will live-telecast ICC Cricket World Cup matches on its giant cine screens after a tie-up with ICC

Not just movies, fans can now watch live Cricket World Cup matches on big cine screens and experience a stadium-like atmosphere sitting in the comfort of their seats after the International Cricket Council (ICC) tied-up with India’s second largest cinema multiplex to show live matches. In a first tie-up of two such different entities coming together, the Cineplex giant will live telecast all of India’s league matches, the semi-finals, final and other high-profile league matches of other teams. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is set to begin on May 30 in England. The final will be played on July 1.

Inox will telecast those matches at select multiplexes in Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur, Indore, Vadodara, Surat, Noida, Gurgaon and Faridabad. The cinema multiplex is set to telecast a total of 15 matches in those cities. While Inox will live telecast the matches in India, ICC has also partnered some other multiplex in UAE and Bahrain. A list of Indian team’s matches to be live-telecast on INOX : South Africa (June 5), Australia (June 9), New Zealand (June 13), Pakistan (June 16), Afghanistan (June 22), West Indies (June 27), England (June 30), Bangladesh (July 2,) and Sri Lanka (July 6).
