The ICC Cricket World Cup is scheduled to begin from May 30, 2019, in England and Wales. This will be the 12th edition of Cricket World Cup. Ahead of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, England's Barmy Army trolled David Warner and Australian team as 'CHEATS'. Australian cricketers, David Warner and Steve Smith will be returning back to the team after a gap of one year. They were banned from International cricket for a year after their infamous ball tampering incident during the third Test match against South Africa at Cape Town in March 2018. In this incident Australian pacer Cameron Bancroft was caught by television camera trying to rough up one side of the ball with sandpaper to make it swing in flight. The captain of that match Steve Smith and vice-captain David Warner were found to be involved in this act and all three cricketers received unprecedented sanction from Cricket Australia. Australia will now head to England and Wales for ICC Cricket World Cup, 2019 and following this, they will play against the England team in The Ashes. The Barmy Army which was formed during 1994-95 Ashes Series at Adelaide Oval has trolled David Warner and Australian Cricket team as 'CHEAT' before they arrive in England and Wales to play World Cup tournament. The Barmy Army is a registered company in England and Wales which provide provides tickets and arranges touring parties for some of its members to follow the English cricket team in the UK and overseas.

The Barmy Army has not even spared Australian players Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon, where they have shown them holding sandpaper. Australian Cricket Team coach, Justin Langer when asked about this troll in a press conference on May 9, 2019, replied that his team is ready for it and they won't get rattled by a hostile reception at the World Cup.

Good news for Australia is that David Warner is in extremely good form as he had an excellent IPL 2019 tournament where he scored 692 runs from 12 matches. Australia will play England on May 25, 2019, at Southampton in a warm-up game for World Cup. They will play their first league match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against Afghanistan on June 1, 2019.
