As quoted by News 18, a source said that both players will be released from the squad as the management feels that India's upcoming matches will take place within a short period of time and there will be hardly any marathon practice sessions. He said, “There was very little gap between games for any extensive practice. So it was decided by the management to release the two players as matches are literally back to back and there is very little scope for marathon practice sessions to happen.
