Following the tie between India and Afghanistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2018, a video went viral showing a kid crying after Ravindra Jadeja’s dismissal. Needing one off two balls, Jadeja was caught off Rashid Khan’s bowling as India failed to win the match. Soon after the match ended a kid, who was an Indian fan, was crying while his father tried to console him. The pictures and videos went viral and were all over the internet.

Even Afghanistan players Rashid Khan and Mohammad Shahzad consoled the kid and met the youngster to cheer him up. The Afghanistan players clicked pictures with the kid. Following the gesture by Afghan cricketers, the kid was seen smiling.

With his innocent act going viral on social media, Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh too noticed the kid’s emotions and took to Twitter. “Koi na putt Rona Nahi hai final aapa jittange,” wrote Harbhajan, which roughly translates to “no problem, India will win the finals.” Asia Cup 2018 Leading Run-Scorers: Mushfiqur Rahim Second on the List of Batsmen With Most Runs in Asian Cricket Tournament

Meanwhile, the kid’s father revealed on Twitter that he received a call from India’s fast-bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar. In reply to Harbhajan’s tweet, Amarpreet Singh wrote, “Paaji he is happy now and looking forward to the final on Friday... Really kind of @BhuviOfficial as well to call and console him... We will surely bounce back and it will be our "Fateh" on Friday Go Team India.”
