Former South African cricketer Hashim Amla is all set to make his debut in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL T20). If a report is to be believed, Amla will represent Khulna Tigers in the BPL 2019-20. A report in bdcrictime.com while citing a reliable source revealed that the former Proteas star will soon head to Bangladesh to take part in the league. The right-handed batsman post-retirement took part in the T10 leagues in Abu Dhabi and Qatar. Amla has also represented Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Amla has played for Barbados Tridents and Trinbago Knight Riders.
The 36-year-old batsman has an experience of playing 124 Tests, 181 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 44 T20 Internationals. In Tests, Amla score 9282 runs while in ODIs and T20Is he finished with 8113 and 1277 runs respectively. Amla has played 145 T20s as well and has scored 4284 runs at a strike rate of 126.14.
