Pakistani cricketer Hasan Ali is going to marry Samiya Arzoo today, August 20. Arzoo, who is an Indian girl, belongs to Mewat District of Haryana. According to reports, the wedding is going to be held in Dubai at Atlantis Palm Hotel. The celebrations of the event are underway and some pre-wedding photos and videos are doing the rounds on social media. The Pakistan wedding photographers Da Artist Photo shared many photos and videos of the pre-wedding photoshoot event on their Instagram profile. In one of the videos, Pakistan cricketer Shadab Khan is also seen celebrating for his Pakistan teammate Ali. Samiya’s father Liaquat Ali is a former Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BPDO). Shamiya has a B.Tech (Aeronautical) degree from Manav Rachna University. She is a former employee of Jet Airways. Currently, she is working as a flight engineer in Emirates Airlines. Shamiya’s father had earlier revealed that ten family members will be part of the wedding in Dubai. These include son Akbar Ali, wife Rahisha, son-in-law Altaf Hussain, daughters Bilkis and Mumtaz and other few members of the family.

Hasan Ali, however, won’t be the first Pakistan cricketer to marry an Indian girl. Senior cricketer Shoaib Malik is married to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. Also, former Pakistan cricketer Zaheer Abbas and Mohsin Hasan Khan’s wives are also from India. Hasan Ali played for Pakistan in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. After a poor show at the start, he was dropped from the playing 11. Ali has so far played nine Test, 53 ODIs and 30 T20Is for Pakistan. Ali had a great role in Pakistan’s victory in ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
