After a horrendous start to his Test tour in England, Hardik Pandya was criticised by cricket pundits, and rightly so. His performances weren’t up to the mark and the manner in which he was playing was underwhelming. However, with his match-winning performances in the ongoing third Test match, Pandya has proved his naysayers wrong!

Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) posted Pandya’s candid video on their Twitter account, where the all-rounder is seen relishing his accomplishment. While sharing the video, BCCI noted, “A fifer to savour for a long time for @hardikpandya7. A proud moment for the all-rounder to see his name on the Trent Bridge Honour's board #TeamIndia #ENGvIND.”

Here’s a Video of Hardik Pandya Savouring the Moment:

After taking a five-wicket haul in the first innings against England, the all-rounder on cloud nine! It was because of his bowling performance in the match that India was able to rip through England’s line-up. His exploits in the match (6-1-28-5) earned him a mention on the honours board.

Will he be able to repeat his performances in the second innings and in the series is too early to tell! However, Hardik Pandya has shown the potential that he has it in him. Recently, he said that he was happy being himself and there was no need for him to compare with Kapil Dev.
