Team India drew first blood against England as they secured a Twenty20 series win, on Sunday. The hero of the match was none other than Hardik Pandya. The all-rounder ended the game with figures 4-0-38-4 while bowling and was unbeaten on 33* runs of only 14 balls. However, it was Rohit Sharma who was adjudged Player of the Match award.

It was Hardik Pandya who was at the centre of turn of events that took place in the third T20I in Bristol. After leaking 22 runs in his first over, Pandya bounced back by giving away only 16 runs in the next three overs; moreover, he took four crucial wickets. Not just that, it was Pandya who scored the winning shot by hitting a huge six over the long-on boundary.

After a series-winning victory, Hardik Pandya took to his Twitter account and posted a message for his fans. Feeling proud about the victory, Pandya said that this team knows only two things, i.e. a. Win, and b. Learn.

India won the third T20I against England by seven wickets, playing at County Ground, in Bristol, on July 8. It was Rohit Sharma’s brilliant unbeaten century that ensured India emerge victorious without many hiccups. However, it was a blazing cameo by Hardik Pandya which saw India canter to the target of 199 runs, with eight balls remaining.

After winning the three-match T20I series against England 2-1, India would be looking to carrying forward their form in the One Day International (ODI) series that begins on July 12.
