It was yesterday, during the match between India and Pakistan, Hardik Pandya got injured while bowling in the 18th over. The all-rounder was taken out of the ground on a stretcher as Patel injured himself after he fell on the ground during the follow-up. As per the official website of the BCCI he is currently suffering from a back spasm and has been ruled out of the Asia Cup 2018. However, injury has not ruffled the all-rounder as he vows to come back stronger.
He took to Instagram and shared a picture of himself of the time he fell on the ground. Hardik also promised his fans that he will provide timely updates on his injury. The caption of the snap impressed us. “All your love and support is going to make me come back stronger! Will keep you guys up to date on my recovery. Thank you.”
Talking about the Asia Cup 2018, injuries now could be a big headache for India. Apart from Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur have been ruled out of the tournament. Axar Patel got injured while fielding against Pakistan and ended up hurting his left index finger. Shardul Thakur was experiencing right hip and groin soreness. The three players will reach Dubai on Thursday. The official website of the BCCI read, “The Senior Selection Committee has decided to make three changes to the Indian squad for the ongoing Asia Cup owing to injuries to three members of the team.” India will play their next match against Bangladesh on Friday, September 21, 2018.
