Hardik in the three-match T20I series, could pick only three wickets despite getting his full four-over quite to bowl. In the first game, he snapped two wickets giving away 51 runs. In the second game in Auckland, Pandya conceded 36 runs and got one wicket. In the third game, as mentioned above, Pandya conceded 44 runs. With this, the all-rounder 131 runs in all and went on to become the most expensive bowler in a bilateral series. He surpassed Krunal who had given away 119 runs. With this, India was chasing 212 runs after they won the toss and elected to field. The Indian bowlers looked helpless as they were beaten all over the park. Only Kuldeep Yadav got a couple wickets Khaleel Ahmed and Bhuvneshwar Kumar got one wicket each. Colin Munro went on to be the Man of the Match for his 70 run knock. India was just four runs short of reaching the total.
