With the photo, the 25-year-old cricketer also revealed his love for cricket. He also mentioned that he used to travel in trucks to play local matches during his younger days. Hardik is also standing on a truck in the photo. In the photo, a young Pandya is seen wearing a cap. Hardik Pandya Relives Old Days!

Pandya had earlier mentioned about the struggle he had to go through to become a cricketer. His father made a lot of sacrifices and even changed his city to provide cricket coaching to his sons. Hardik also used to travel by trains and faced financial issues during his cricket coaching days. Hardik’s brother, Krunal, is also part of the India national cricket team. He is also an all-rounder like that of Hardik. Both the brothers are emerging cricketers of the national team. They are also popular players of Indian Premier League's team Mumbai Indians. Hardik Pandya Posts a Picture on Instagram With Caption ‘Great to Be Back With the Team’ Ahead of IND vs SA 1st T20I Match. 

Earlier on Wednesday, Hardik had shared a post on Instagram, mentioning he is all set for the 2nd T20I match against South Africa. In the post, he was seen throwing the ball during the practice sessions. Along with the photo, he wrote, "Target locked, Match Day ready". Hardik was given complete rest during India’s tour of West Indies 2019. He was called back during South Africa’s tour of India 2019. He is part of the T20I series against South Africa, which consists of three matches.

Meanwhile, India defeated South Africa in the 2nd T20I in Mohali by 7 wickets. Virat Kohli was given the player of the match award for his unbeaten 72 runs of 52 balls. Kohli also became the leading run-scorer in T20I cricket with his knock. Hardik Pandya did not bat in the match, however, he delivered four overs bagging one wicket. India vs South Africa, 3rd T20I will be played on Sunday, September 22 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The first T20I was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain.
