Hardik Pandya who had been out of action due to an injury during Asia Cup 2018 in September, has made a remarkable comeback. The all-rounder rounder got injured during the fixture against Pakistan and had been out of action ever since. Now, after recuperating, Pandya is currently playing in the ongoing season of Ranji Trophy 2018 for Baroda against Mumbai. Pandya ended the first day with snapping three wickets by giving away 74 runs for Baroda. On day two, he snapped another two. Mumbai openers Aditya Tare (15) and Vilas Auti (12) in quick succession, while dismissed Shivam Dube for 37 runs in the 85th over on the first day. As Mumbai resumed their batting today morning, the pacer sent back Akash Parkar (22) and Royston Dias for a duck, to end with figures of 5/81 in first-class cricket. In the first innings for Mumbai, Shreyas Iyer made 178 runs whereas, Siddesh Lad scored 130 runs and piled up 465 runs on the board for Mumbai. In reply, Baroda's Vishnu Solanki made 128 runs and is still playing for the team.
