For a while now, the Indian team management has battled with the issues related number four. MSK Prasad led selection committee has tried various players at number four but has failed to have found a permanent solution. With Shubman Gill getting a call for the Test series between India and South Africa, the team management is once again trying to put a full stop to the issues related to number four. Now, Harbhajan Singh has lashed out at the selection committee for ignoring players like Suryakumar Yadav. Rain-affected Vijay Hazare Trophy Matches to Be Rescheduled. 

The Mumbai Indians batsman has been in a terrific form off late in the on-going season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019-20. His latest innings against Chattisgarh is much talked about where he slammed a quick 81 runs from 31 balls. Though Mumbai ended up losing the game, his runs further ushered the team to the score of 317 runs from 50 overs. Needless to say that this performance did not go unnoticed by Bhajji as he took to social media to slam the selectors.

Talking about his innings, Surya batted at a strike rate of 261.29 and slammed eight fours and six maximums. It was Amandeep Khare who snatched victory from the jaws of defeat for team Chhattisgarh as he slammed 117 runs from 94 balls hitting eight fours and four maximums. Khare remained not out along with Ajay Jadav Mandal who made 39 runs from 30 balls. The team made 318 runs from 49.5 overs.
