Since morning there has been a video going viral where a 19-year-old girl in Pakistan was abducted and was forcibly converted to Islam. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh appealed to Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to take stringent action against the culprits. He also requested External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to take the issue with his Pakistani counterpart. Now, Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has also joined the bandwagon and raised his concerns about the 19-year-old. He took to social media to react to the video. He said that religion is a beautiful thing but one should not be enforced on anyone. “This need to stop here.let’s not get there.every religion is beautiful.don’t force anyone to convert in any..GOD is one..let god only decide which religion we born in.don’t try to become god yourself.strict action should be taken towards this @ImranKhanPTI @DrSJaishankar,” read his tweet. As per reports, the abducted girl had been missing for a few days now.

The reports further say that the girl’s name is Jagjit Kaur and was forcefully converted to Islam in Lahore's Nankana Sahib city. The girl was also married to a Muslim man. The video of her wedding went viral on social media. Surinder Singh, brother of Jagjit Kaur asked the PM of Pakistan to intervene and said, "Our family has faced a tragic incident as some goons forcibly entered our house and abducted my younger daughter. They tortured her and forcibly converted her to Islam." He said that after registering the complaint the goons again came to their house and forced them to withdraw the complaint.
