Harbhajan Singh faced the wrath of fans after taking a dig at Islamic countries for the religious symbol (moon) on their respective national flags. The former Indian international, while congratulating India for launching Chandrayaan 2, tried taking a sly dig at some Islamic countries with his tweet. But fans were not ready to accept his ‘derogatory’ tweet and soon started trolling him for his comments. The Turbanator congratulated ISRO for the big achievement which made India the fourth country after the United States, Russia and China to make a soft landing of a satellite on the moon. The launching of Chandrayaan 2 was India’s second lunar-mission – in which the satellite that will enter the earth’s orbit. Harbhajan took to Twitter to congratulate ISRO for its achievement but also ended up taunting few Islamic countries in his tweet. Chandrayaan 2 Launched! But while Harbhajan may have done it for fun and his intentions were not malicious, netizens bashed the cricketer for his lack of respect towards other countries and more so for insulting a religious symbol - Many Islamic countries uses the moon symbol on their national flags and consider it to be a religious symbol.
