During the course of the match, the video clips and photos of Zampa’s hand in the pocket were all over the internet. Some social media users alleged that Australians were once again using sandpaper to alter the condition of the ball.

However, after the match, Finch explained why Zampa had his hands in the pocket before bowling the ball.
