So, the news coming from the centre is not good as the umpires shook hands with each other and the game is called off. We had around thirty minutes in the hand till the cut-off time but it is still raining steadily. After all the start and stops, that's it for the day.

Bad news again as after a small phase of play the drizzle is back along with the covers with it. Umpires have asked the players to get to the dugout as the drizzle is pretty steady now. Hopefully it is just a small delay.

Good news for the fans, the rain has stopped, and covers are off. Stumps are placed back on to the pitch. We are going to have a 29 overs per side game. The play is going to resume soon.

The covers continue to stay on. After a short period of hope in between where they were off, the wait continues yet again. It is still raining steadily at Seddon Park.

Just as we were hoping to get good news, the rain is back at Seddon Park. Although it is not as heavy yet and just a slight drizzle, but it will definitely delay the ground inspection of the Umpires and the start as well.

Good news for the fans as Rain has stopped in Seddon Park and it looks a little brighter as well. Umpires are out on the field and having a discussion over the outfield conditions. Hopefully we can get a restart very soon.

Showers continue steadily in Seddon Park. Even if the rain stops anytime soon, the ground staff have a tough job in hand to dry the outfield and make the conditions suitable for the match to happen. Things doesn't look good at this moment.

The rain has got heavier. Despite of the efforts from the ground staff to keep the square dry, we have started to lose overs now. There is no signs of the rain to stop yet.Ā

India vs New Zealand second ODI has been interrupted by rain. New Zealand won the toss and decided to field first. As the Indian openers were building a foundation of the innings, rain stopped play. Currently it is raining very heavily and as the weather forecast suggested, doesn't seem to stop anytime soon.

The sun was seen at Hamilton ahead of the second ODI between India vs New Zealand. There is a rain threat hovering over this match and although it has not been ruled out yet, this is an encouraging sign for the fans.

Indian fans will not only want their team to bounce back in the series after a defeat in the 1st ODI but also pray that the rain gods stay away. Ahead of Indiaā€™s second ODI against New Zealand in Hamilton, there have been reports of a massive rain threat looming large in the clash. According to the Meteorological Service of New Zealand, chances of a downpour are very likely during the afternoon when this game is supposed to start (2:30 pm local time). The rainfall will reportedly ease out a bit towards the evening and thunderstorms are likely to take place all day. This certainly is not the piece of news that fans, especially those who would be travelling to Seddon Park to watch this match, will want to hear.Ā India vs New Zealand, 2nd ODI 2022, Hamilton Weather Report: Check Out the Rain Forecast and Pitch Report at Seddon Park

Accuweather states that there would be a 100% cloud cover and which means that the chances of rain interrupting, or even washing this game out remains a real possibility. The temperature would be around 15-18 degrees with a 49% chance of precipitation. If rain indeed lessens as the day progresses to the evening, then fans can still hope for a curtailed match between the two sides so that at least one result is possible instead of a washout.Ā India vs New Zealand 2nd ODI 2022 Preview: Likely Playing XIs, Key Players, H2H and Other Things You Need to Know About IND vs NZ Cricket Match in Hamilton
