Hardik Pandya has been sidelined from the Indian cricket team following a lower back surgery with his cricket return uncertain but that hasn’t kept the star all-rounder away from the limelight. The 25-year-old recently travelled to the United Kingdom to undergo the surgery and also kept his fans updated with pictures on his personal social media account. Pandya played the Twenty20 series against South Africa but was left out from the Test series. "Surgery done successfully. Extremely grateful to everyone for your wishes. Will be back in no time! Till then miss me,” wrote Pandya in his post thanking all his fans and well-wishers. Many of his supporters also commented on the post and wished him a speedy recovery. Among those well-wishers of the Indian star were also national teammates Suresh Raina and Mayan Agarwal.

Izabelle even asked the Indian cricketer if he was wearing the wristwatch during surgery, to which Pandya replied “Always”. Pandya had posted the picture moments after his surgery and could be seen lying on a stretcher. Despite the surgery, Pandya is far from making a return into the Indian Cricket team and is currently on recovery post the back surgery.

Meanwhile, India beat South Africa by 203 runs in the first game of the three-match Test series. The next game will begin on October 10, 2019 (Thursday) and will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune.
