Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and former Indian legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar wished everyone on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti 2019. Both the cricket legend took to social media to wish the countrymen on the holy festival of Sikhism. The Guru Nanak Jayanti 2019 is being celebrated on Tuesday (November 12) throughout the country.

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and former Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar wished everyone on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti 2019. Both the cricket legends took to social media to wish the countrymen on the holy festival of Sikhism. Guru Nanak Jayanti 2019 is being celebrated on Tuesday (November 12) throughout the country. The festival marks the birth of Guru Nanak Ji, the founder of Sikhism and first Sikh Guru. While Kohli shared a video message on Instagram to wish everyone on Guru Purab, Tendulkar shared a photo of Guru Nanak Ji to wish everyone.

“Wishing everyone a happy Guru Purab on the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak ji.#GuruNanakJayanti”, the Master Blaster wrote along with his Twitter post. Kohli wished peace and happiness in everyone’s lives in his Instagram video. Earlier in the day, Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Gautam Gambhir and VVS Laxman wished everyone on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. The trio took to Twitter to share a heart-warming post. Guru Nanak Jayanti was born in 1469. It is his 550th birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru this year. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is set to make a comeback in the Indian team in the upcoming home Test series against Bangladesh. Kohli was rested for the T20I series. Rohit Sharma led the team in the T20I series against Bangladesh, which India won 2-1. The first Test starts on November 14 in Indore.
