On day 3 of the match, South Australia batter smashed Tanveer Sangha for a six towards the leg side. The shot was so powerful that the ball got lost in the bushes. Nathan Lyon went on to search for the ball and was able to find it, however, the colour of it had changed to white. Obviously, that wasn't the match ball, later the groundstaff and his teammates joined him in the search and at the match ball was found.
