The 'Shashank Redemption' has seen Punjab Kings pull off a fantastic three-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024. For a good part of the run chase, it looked as if Punjab Kings might not end on the right side of the result until Shashank Singh came out and blazed his way to 61 runs off 29 deliveries. The 32-year-old, who was 'accidentally' signed by Punjab Kings at the auction last year, showed that he was just the right man for them with a performance to remember. Young Ashutosh Sharma, who was introduced as 'Impact Player' left a mark in this game with 31 runs off just 17 deliveries. Shubman Gill would be gutted that his performance in the first innings was not enough for Gujarat Titans to win this match. Punjab Kings have their second win of the season and first away from home while Gujarat Titans fall to their second loss in three matches. 

What a game this has been and Shashank Singh has won it for Punjab Kings! The 32-year-old has played a blinder, smashing   61 runs off only 29 balls as Punjab Kings have snatched a win from the jaws of defeat! Surely this will go down as one of Punjab Kings' best victories with Singh and Ashutosh Sharma notching up a 43 run stand off 22 balls! Punjab Kings have picked up their second win of the season.
