Global T20 Canada 2019 Schedule: Full Time Table With Fixtures, Dates, Match Timings in IST and Venue Details of GT20 League

The six teams to take part in the Global T20 Canada 2019 are- Toronto Nationals, Vancouver Knights, Montreal Tigers, Winnipeg Hawks, Edmonton Royals, and Brampton Wolves.

Global T20 Canada 2019 (GT20 2019) is all set for its second edition. The second season of the Global T20 Canada 2019 begins on July 25 and will last till August 11, 2019. The tournament will be played for 17 days with all the matches to take place at a single venue- Brampton in Ontario. A total of six teams will feature in the Global T20 league 2019. The six teams to take part in the Global T20 Canada 2019 are- Toronto Nationals, Vancouver Knights, Montreal Tigers, Winnipeg Hawks, Edmonton Royals, and Brampton Wolves. Yuvraj Singh to Play for Toronto Nationals in Global T20 Canada 2019.

Out of these franchises, Brampton Wolves will be making its debut as it replaces West Indies B team that featured in the inaugural edition. Meanwhile, players like Chris Gayle, Yuvraj Singh, Andre Russell, Shakib Al Hasan, Kane Williamson, and Shahid Afridi add to the attraction of the Global T20 Canada 2019.

As per the format, the Global T20 Canada 2019 is divided into three parts- Round One, Round Two and Playoffs. In the first round, teams will play five matches and face other teams in round-robin style. In the second round, there will be three matches. The team finishing first on the points table will take on the sixth-placed team. The second team will face fifth and third-placed team will take on the fourth team. At this stage, two teams will be knocked-out and top four teams progress to playoffs. I Am Ready! Vancouver Knights come into the tournament as defending champions. The Knights won the inaugural edition of the Global T20 Canada after defeating West Indies B team in the finals. Meanwhile, for the Global T20 Canada 2019 drop-in pitches will be used.
