Global Super League 2024 Schedule, Participating Teams List and All You Need to Know About the T20 Cricket Tournament 

Another addition to the plethora of T20 leagues around the world, the inaugural season of the Global Super League (GSL) 2024 will be held next month. GSL will feature as many as five T20 sides from all across the globe — Guyana Amazon Warriors, Lahore Qalandars, Hampshire Hawks, Rangpur Riders, and Victoria — try their best to clinch the title, which will have a prize money of USD 1 million. The GSL will be an annual event, which will be supported by the Government of Guyana, which is sanctioned by Cricket West Indies and will showcase different T20 sides each other. All matches of GSL will be played at Providence.

The Global Super League will be held between November 26 and December 7. Several international stars will be seen in action, however, their availability will depend on international commitments, and the Abu Dhabi T10 which will also be held during the same period.

The format is quite simple, where all of the five franchises will play each other once, after which the top teams with the most points will move on to feature in the tournament final.

Schedule

A total of 11 matches, including 10 league and one final will be played between November 26 and December 7. November 28 is a rest day. Apart from December 1 (double-header), all days will feature one match. One of the most anticipated matches will be between Lahore Qalandars and Ranpur Riders, where Shaheen Afridi will be up against Babar Azam. The Amazon Warriors will witness several West Indies stars in action, which will surely attract all the local frans.

Venue  

All matches of the Global Super League 2024 will be played at Providence Stadium in Guyana. With the Government of Guyana supporting the competition, fans coming into the stadium can expect a lot of fun and games that will keep the crowd engaged in between innings.
