Bridgetown Barbados Weather and Rain Forecast in Focus As India Sets Up T20 World Cup 2024 Final Clash With South Africa

India win by 68 runs! What a win for India. It was feared that rain will play spoilsport but it did not do much damage as India beat England to set up ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 final clash with South Africa on June 29, Saturday. Umpires and players are in the middle now and the action is about to begin now. Remember, there is a forecast for rain throughout the day. But the best thing is we are not losing any overs as now. 

Good News! Rain has stopped as of now. Groundsmen are working to clear the water from the main pitch cover. The sun is out as well. However, rain forecast for the day stays.

As per the Guyana weather and rain forecast for today, there are over 50 percent chances of rain for the next two hours. However, it is expected to decrease after that.  Remember the cutoff time for this match is 1:44 AM IST which is 4:14 PM as per Guyana time.

So some of the clouds have brought little rain but umpires have decided to keep the play going on. Doesn't look threatening but appears the clouds are building up and it could start raining anytime.

Unfortunately, the rain has made a comeback once again and the ground is being put covers. The covers were starting to come off a while ago but with the rain back, they are back as well. The toss has not taken place yet and we might be in for a big delay here. 

The toss has been delayed due to a wet outfield at the Providence Stadium. The drainage system is good at the venue and the ground is expected to be made ready for the match soon. 

The heavy spell of rain has stopped, which is something cricket, especially England fans, would want. The toss is expected to be delayed though as a result of this recent downpour. 

Oh no! The rain had stopped for a while but it has returned once again. The players had arrived at the stadium and would be waiting for the downpour to subside. If this continues, we might be in for a delayed toss. Again, the drainage facilities at this venue are good. 

We have some good news! The rain has stopped in Guyana and the covers are being removed from the Providence Stadium. It had started to rain just a while ago and fortunately, the downpour has stopped for now and the sun is out.

As predicted, it has started to rain in Georgetown Guyana. Senior sports journalist Vimal Kumar has shared live visuals from the city and it is raining heavily at the moment.
