Thanking every teacher on Teachers' Day 2019, Gambhir wrote. “Wherever I am today, whatever I have been able to do, the credit goes to my gurus only. #TeachersDay. But I thank all the teachers and gurus for their selfless hard work. If you are then we are”, the 37-year-old wrote in Hindi language. Gautam Wishes His Coach!

Sanjay Bhardwaj was recently conferred with prestigious Dronacharya Award by President Ram Nath Kovind on National Sports Day 2019, August 29. The veteran coach has produced some great cricketers in his 30 years coaching career. Gambhir is one of his best players. Gambhir recently came into headlines after he urged to punish those who burn the national flag. The Delhi cricketer had tweeted that those who burn Tricolor should be made to serve the Indian army for two years.

Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar also paid tribute to his late cricket coach Ramakant Achrekar on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2019. Tendulkar shared an old photo of himself with his late former coach Achrekar. The Master Blaster thanked his coach his immense contribution in his life with a heart-warming message.
