Pat Cummins scripted history by becoming the first player to claim a hat-trick in two consecutive matches in the T20I format. Hat-trick is a rare feat, especially in a marquee event like T20 World Cup. There have been a couple of bowlers before Cummins who have achieved the feat. Brett Lee 

The iconic Australian speedster who tested the speed guns limit was the first player to take a hat-trick in the T20 WC. In the inaugural edition, he achieved the feat against Bangladesh. Lee removed Shakib Al Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza and Alok Kapali to take the first hat-trick in the history of the tournament. 

Curtis Campher 

In 2021, the Ireland pacer etched his name into the history book by picking up a hat-trick in the T20 World Cup against the Netherlands. He picked up wickets of Colin Ackermann, Ryan ten Doeschate and Scott Edwards to achieve the feat. 

Wanindu Hasaranga 

The Sri Lankan mystery spinner achieved the feat in the same edition of the T20 World Cup as Curtis Campher did. In 2021, while facing South Africa, Hasaranga picked up a hat-trick to etch his name in the history book. Aiden Markram, Temba Bavuma and Temba Bavuma were his three victims. 

Kagiso Rabada

The South African pacer also made the headlines in 2021 by picking up a hat-trick in the T20 World Cup. During South Africa's clash against England, he dismissed Eoin Morgan, Chris Woakes and Chris Jordan and achieved the feat. 

Karthik Meiyappan

In 2022, the UAE leg spinner took a stunning hat-trick against Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup. Joshua Little

Little is another Ireland player to feature in the elite club. During Ireland's game against New Zealand, Little produced a sensational spell that saw him dismiss Kane Williamson, James Neesham and Mitchell Santner to complete the hat-trick.

In the ongoing T20 World Cup, the Australian pacer became the first player to take two consecutive hat-tricks in the T20I format. He achieved the feat against Bangladesh and went on to replicate it against Afghanistan.
