Yesterday, Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma and many other cricketers expressed their solidarity via social media. This surely did not go down well with the netizens and they urged the cricketers to make their donations instead of just sending thoughts and prayers. KL Rahul was the latest cricketer to post a tweet on the situation in Assam. His tweet read, “Heart breaking to see the situation in Assam. Thoughts and prayers 🙏🏽 #StayStrongAssam.” An internet user asked the cricketers to follow Hima Das and Gautam Gambhir who not only send out their thoughts and prayers but also did their bit by donating.
