The stadium in Korea was jam-packed as fans had turned out in huge number to watch the K League vs Juventus. All eye were glued to their favourite star from Juventus Cristiano Ronaldo who enjoys a huge fan following across the globe. In fact, a lot of fans had bought the tickets only to watch CR7 live in action. But disappointment seeped in as Juventus arrived late. What added to the fan’s fury was that the football star remained on the bench for the whole match. Many fans have reached out to Seoul law firm Myungan to file a lawsuit and are seeking compensation of 70,000 won (£48.50; $59) per ticket, 1,000 won for the ticket commission fee, and 1m won each for compensation for "mental anguish". A lawyer also informed Reuters that the company will be booked for false advertising. "As for the mental anguish part, I'd like to say some of them are raucous fans, the real avid fans. So for them, it is very painful because they love Ronaldo and want to protect him, but they can't, given the situation," he added.

The footballer was supposed to play on the field for about 45 minutes in the game. However, she only found out that the 34-year-old would not be making an appearance 10 minutes into the second half. The organizer even argued with Pavel Nedved, the vice president of Juventus who said it was CR7 who did not want to run and nothing can be done.
