The video obviously evoked a lot of reactions. A netizen asked if the mishap has kept Anderson away from golf? The English pacer replied to the tweet saying, “Nope .”
Talking about the first test match at Edgbaston, England defeated India by 31 runs. Indian skipper Virat Kohli was the only batsman who rose to the occasion and scored 151 and 49 runs respectively. However, the skipper sounded extremely upset with the batsmen. In the post-match ceremony, Virat said, “ Our shot selection could have been better. We definitely need to apply ourselves better with the bat, but England came back superbly. We need to take the positives and move forward. We can be proud as a team to start against England in England the way we have. There is a lot to learn from the lower order in the first innings, Ishant and Umesh got stuck in the middle. Ishant showed character here, Umesh hung around with Hardik again.”
