The England and Wales Cricket Board announced the schedule of Ashes 2019 Test cricket series between Australia and England on Thursday. The five-match tournament will begin after the 2019 ICC World Cup, international cricket body's flagship event. The most famous rivalries will lock horns and the Ashes 2019 will be the first series under the new ICC Test Championship for both teams. The first Test match will start on August 1, 2019, at Edgbaston. England will begin their summer by playing with first-ever Test match against Ireland in July, follow it up with the Ashes series. The second match will be played at the Mecca of Cricket from 14-18 August 2018. Whereas, the third match will be played at Headingley from 22-26 August. The Brits will lock horns with Ireland in a historic four day Test match ahead of the Ashes.
