Sri Lanka lost to New Zealand and Australia and managed to win only one match which was against Afghanistan.
England are number three on the points table, behind only Australia and New Zealand. Whereas Sri Lanka is on the number six position in the points table and is behind Bangladesh who are on the fifth position. England will look to move closer to the semi-finals with a win over Sri Lanka in Friday's match.
